Our club is Bradley University’s first student-run production club. From writing our own scripts and shooting our own shots, to editing it all together, each aspect of a traditional production is taught from start to finish, allowing students to get a better hands-on experience in the entertainment field.
Each semester, we select a script written by the previous semester’s writing team, and start pre-production. During this phase, we assign the various roles each member of the club will take on (For a list of positions and whether they are available, please visit the additional information page), and start prepping for the upcoming shoot days.
We then tackle shooting the scenes required for each script. The enjoyable part about being in this club is that we don’t just limit filming to Bradley’s campus, we try to explore the Peoria Area as well. In the past, we have filmed at One World and the Peoria Public Library, and are looking into more and more locations each semester.
The final stage is putting the filmed content together. Each editor works hard to make the film picture perfect in time for our Spring Showcase, where we show off the two latest films along with some past projects. Below you visit our YouTube channel and see the past projects we’ve worked hard on, or under the about us tab, you can meet the executive board who helps run the club.
